June 2012 - A visit to the Fine Arts Museum in Brussels. This huge canvas by 19th century Belgian painter Gustaaf Wappers shows an episode from the Belgian Revolution of 1830.


June 2012 - In Toledo I get a real El Greco overdose. Highlight is 'The Burial of The Count of Orgaz'. His tomb stone lies just below the painting.


June 2012 - During a one-day trip to Toledo I visit the Hospital de Tavera, an amazing art museum. One of the highlights is this sculpture by 17th century sculptor Pedro de Mena.


June 2012 - Inside Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid (again).


May 2012 - In Turnhout to prepare the new presentation of 'Unveiled' next August/September 2012. The exhibition space will need a bit more light.


April 2012 - During my trip to San Francisco I visit Bodega Bay where Hitchcock shot his film 'The Birds'. The school building from the movie is now a private house.

March 2012 - Visiting Madrid to admire Van der Weyden’s 'Descent from the Cross' in the Prado museum. I also attend the opening night of Alain Platel’s 'C(h)oeur' in the Teatro Real.
